Bliss Therapy is led by Ameerah Pompilus, a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and Mental Health Counselor with a dual masters degree from Barry University earned in 2013. With a strong foundation in evidence based care, Ameerah works with empathy, professionalism, and compassion to help clients navigate anxiety, trauma, anger, and relational challenges. Her approach centers on creating emotional safety while helping clients build clarity, resilience, and purpose during times of transition and emotional distress.

I value your privacy, which is why I operate a private pay practice and do not accept insurance. Insurance companies often require a formal mental health diagnosis for coverage, and not all therapeutic services are eligible for reimbursement, which can limit the kind of support you receive. By remaining private pay, I am able to protect your confidentiality, offer more flexible treatment options, and focus exclusively on your needs—not insurance requirements.
